#one of my favorite JA scenes #I need to have another like it #I just need to #I mean Jeff simply goes to Annie and states some facts #which he makes very clear and he seems to know what’s wrong and what he should do about it #but he just goes to her and tells her all these things anyway #because she’s the most decent person he knows #because in a way he also needs to feel bad in order to feel good #it’s like he knows she would understand him and he feels like he can talk to her #and I love how she just knows what to say #people keep saying that Annie doesn’t like Jeff for who he is and she tries to change him #I say she knows who he is and tries to make him grow and let the good side win #it’s a difference #also I need to point out that this scene demonstrates people are wrong when they say it’s only about attraction #no #look here #it’s heart to heart from a friend to a friend #so stop saying they don’t have an adult friendship basis (via memories-n-magnolias)
